Boston Whaler successfully introduced to the Kiwi market

Back in May 2021 we announced that Rayglass was the new home of servicing and sales for Boston Whaler in New Zealand. Since then we’ve made huge progress introducing the brand to New Zealand boaties.

To keep you in the loop on all things Boston Whaler, here’s a quick update. 

5 boats successfully imported

We’ve now successfully imported five Boston Whaler vessels into New Zealand, including x2 240 Vantage's and x3 325 Conquest's. That means for the first time you can purchase one of these iconic vessels without the significant wait time you would usually face when importing from the USA. 

First boats sold - many more to come

Soon after we imported our first vessels we sold our first Boston Whaler Vessels - a 240 Vantage which was delivered to Gulf Harbour, where its owners has been using it as the ultimate versatile fishing, cruising and entertaining vessel. 

Also, a 325 Conquest which is based out of Orams Marine drystack. The new owners have already multiple weekends away on board. Plenty of fishing and a lot of ground covered with the twin Mercury 300hp V8 power plant!

We currently have stock available in New Zealand for the 325 Conquest in both the open cabin and enclosed pilothouse versions, with both configurations proving to be very popular here in New Zealand.  The 240 Vantage is also available with more expected soon:

The Boston Whaler 325 Conquest has it all. A spacious deck, with plenty of room for family trips, fishing and entertaining. Plus a generous and luxurious cabin, with plenty of room for two couples. 

It’s extremely capable, delivering smooth performance in any seas, making it the perfect vessel for quick fishing trips, family cruising and long range overnighting. Available in both open cabin and enclosed pilot house versions.

• 240 Vantage

The 240 Vantage is an easy to manage, easy to maintain vessel that’s extremely versatile. Light enough to launch with just one or two people, but spacious enough for entertaining, fishing, watersports and cruising - this is the ultimate all-rounder. 

We’ve only got one of these little beauties left for 2023 delivery, so act quickly if you’re interested in viewing one.

Boston Whaler is one of the USA’s most iconic boat brands, with a range of vessels that seem purpose built for Kiwi boaties. As their popularity in New Zealand increases we expect to sell the remaining vessels quickly so we’ve got two additional vessels on order to arrive this year.
